Livesurfcams have teamed up with GUL for our new competition
Gul’s new Vortex range of wetsuits is a cut above the rest when it comes to top performance surf suits. Since 19--, Gul has been leading the development of British surfing. Gul began when a local surfer, Dennis Cross, decided there must be a warmer way to enjoy the Atlantic swells. In the back of his camper at Fistral beach, Dennis made his first custom built two piece wetsuit. These first suits were made from heavy industrial rubber, used to make gaskets for engineering - they weren’t the most flexible garments. Dennis' wife, Rose, put her hand to machine stitching all the wetsuits, along with Bessie Doe, who worked for the growing company for over 30 years.
